The pink sand is real; it's not a trick of the light or the photos. The water is warm and clear, and you get about two hours to swim. The only thing to know is that you need to bring dry clothes or be comfortable getting back on the bus in your swimsuit, because there's no changing room on the vehicle. We saw families with kids, couples, solo travelers—it's the kind of beach that works for anyone who wants to actually get in the water instead of just looking at it.

The whole thing runs 6.5 hours from pickup to drop-off back at the Dockyard. The cave entrance fee is included if you booked after August 18, 2024, which saves you the hassle of buying a separate ticket. The guide had already made the cave reservations for the whole group, so there was no waiting around or figuring out entry times. You need to be at least moderately fit—the caves involve some walking and stairs, and the guide mentioned it's not recommended if you have cardiovascular issues.
