The experience

Four hours takes you through the Sakhir desert in an air-conditioned minibus, starting at the Bahrain Grand Prix Circuit where you'll visit the souvenir shop and overlook the legendary track. From there the route moves to the Royal Camel Farm, then to Bahrain's first oil well: a stop that marks the country's industrial turning point. The guide carries the history as you move through the landscape, not as a lecture but as the story of the place itself.

The Tree of Life stands alone in the middle of the desert, and that's where the tour pauses longest. It's the kind of landmark that photographs don't prepare you for. After that comes the A'Ali Burial Mounds, where ancient civilizations left their mark, and the tour closes at A'Ali Pottery, where you see the old techniques still in use. Hotel pickup from central Manama hotels and drop-off at the end are both included. The minibus carries complimentary water and beverages on board, and WiFi is available throughout the ride.

Note that during Grand Prix season the circuit visit is replaced with Al Areen Zoo. Pickup from cruise terminals is not available. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and infants under four are not recommended for this tour.
