The experience
You start by sourcing farm-fresh produce and crafting your own morning treat, then cook it over a cozy campfire: the centerpiece of the experience. After that comes the animal encounters: bottle-feeding baby goats, sheep, and piglets up close, followed by meeting the farm's three Highland cows (Cupcake, Apollo, and Jock) and learning about their personalities while you feed them. Novelty games and educational facts about farming and farm animals run through the morning, designed to work for all ages.
The whole activity runs 2 hours with a maximum of 8 participants, keeping the group small and intimate. Your guide speaks English and leads you through each station. Gumboots are provided so you're ready for the ground, and at the end you sit down with the morning tea you cooked earlier, paired with coffee or tea, to reflect on what you've just done.
