The experience

You arrive at your hotel or airport and the guide picks you up at a time that suits your schedule. The tour starts at Mt. Coot-tha, where you get 360-degree views of the city and Moreton Bay. Most people stop at the café for coffee or ice cream while taking in the lookout. On the way back to the city, about 30 minutes of driving, you pass through the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, stopping at the Tropical Display Dome, Fern House, Japanese Gardens and Bonsai House, then a short walk through a miniature rainforest.

The route then follows the Brisbane River through South Bank Parklands, where you see the Ferris Wheel, the lagoon and Queens Wharf. After 15 minutes, you reach Kangaroo Point Cliffs, a rocky outcrop with river views and the city skyline as your backdrop: a strong spot for photos.
