The day starts at the Sydney Harbour Marriott near Circular Quay, where Craig meets the group with a sign reading "FeelGood! Nature Tours." The drive west passes the Fish Market and crosses the Anzac Bridge before heading into the Blue Mountains. Along the way, you'll collect lunch from Mountain High Pies in Wentworth Falls village: an award-winning local bakery with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options already built in, no advance notice needed.
Once in the national park, the walking begins on formed trails with uneven ground underfoot. The group heads into Megalong Valley, a quieter stretch away from the crowded lookouts, to find wild kangaroos grazing in their natural habitat. From there, Craig offers two routes to the Three Sisters: a more adventurous hidden viewpoint used by rock climbers, or the easier iconic Echo Point option. Both paths deliver sweeping views of the Jamison Valley. The day also takes in Govetts Leap, where a short bushwalk winds through giant tree ferns, and the Undercliff Track along the canyon rim: a quieter alternative that passes Den Fenella, a tree-filled slot canyon where a stream plummets 200 metres off the cliff edge.
The last stop is the real draw. As the sun sets over a secret location (usually the Three Sisters at Echo Point or Anvil Rock), the group settles in with a twilight spread of Yarra Valley Shiraz, Brie and Danish Blue cheese included as standard. Return time varies by season. At the height of summer, you won't get back to central Sydney until around 10pm.
