The experience

The boat leaves Varadero Marina on your chosen time and sails past the Spanish Lagoon and Flamingo Island before reaching Mangel Halto Reef, where you enter the water with snorkeling gear provided. The crew handles the boat while you explore the reef. The timing and pace are yours. A guide speaks English, Spanish, or Dutch throughout the charter.

Meals arrive as a four-course service: tapas to start (Caprese flatbread, avocado toast, shrimp cocktail, ceviche), then a choice of mains (catch of the day, chicken breast, filet mignon, jumbo shrimp, or vegan cauliflower steak) with sides of mashed potatoes, black truffle risotto, fresh vegetables, or pasta. Dessert follows (carrot cake with dulce de leche, marbled cake with chocolate cream, or apple crumble with berries). The premium open bar runs throughout, so drinks come whenever you want them. You pick whether to eat before snorkeling or after, and the crew adjusts the schedule to fit.

This is a private charter, so no strangers share the boat. Infants can travel (they sit on an adult's lap), and service animals are welcome. The four-hour window gives you real time in the water without feeling rushed, and because the boat works on your schedule, you're not locked into a departure time that doesn't suit the rest of your day.

What languages is the tour guided in?

Live guide in English, Spanish and Dutch.

It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.

What's the snorkeling like at Mangel Halto Reef?

Mangel Halto Reef is a shallow coral formation close to shore in Aruba, known for calm, clear water and reef fish. The reef sits in protected waters, making it accessible for snorkelers of all levels.

Can I choose when to eat? Before or after I snorkel?

Yes. The crew arranges the meal timing around your preference: some guests snorkel first and eat after, others prefer to eat and then enter the water. You decide what works for you.

What if I don't want to snorkel the whole time?

You control how long you spend in the water. Some guests snorkel for an hour and spend the rest of the time on deck with a drink. Others stay in the water most of the charter. The crew doesn't set a schedule for you.

Is the boat crowded?

No. This is a private charter, so only your group is on board. You're not sharing the boat with other travelers.

What's included in the meal?

A four-course service arrives: tapas (flatbread, avocado toast, shrimp cocktail, ceviche), a main course of your choice (fish, chicken, steak, shrimp, or vegan option), sides (potatoes, risotto, vegetables, or pasta), and dessert (carrot cake, marbled cake, or apple crumble). The premium open bar is included throughout.

Do I need to bring a towel?

Towels are not provided, so bring your own or arrange one before boarding.
