Gallop the North Coast instead of walking a beach resort loop

A 2.5-hour guided horseback ride through Aruba's countryside and along the North Coast, designed for advanced riders who can handle a controlled gallop. You'll ride through the Cunucu (Aruban countryside) past iguanas and parakeets, reach the rocky shores where waves crash wildly, and stop for photos and scenic views. The guide assesses your skill level and chooses trails accordingly. Experienced riders get access to the white sand dunes. Hotel pickup, a local guide, helmet and a post-ride drink at the ranch bar are included.

The experience

You start with hotel pickup in an air-conditioned minivan and arrive at a ranch in the typical Aruban countryside. After waivers and introductions to your guide and horse, the guide gives you instructions and gets you mounted. The ride heads out through the Cunucu (no streets, no traffic), where iguanas and parakeets roam freely. The guide watches how well you control your horse and picks the trails that match your skill level.

The North Coast is the payoff: rocky shores with waves crashing hard, open views for photos, and if the guide sees you can handle it, the soft white sand dunes open up for a controlled gallop. This is not a walk-and-stop tour. It's built around what you can do on horseback. English and western tack are both available. After the ride, you come back to the ranch bar for a cold drink before the minivan takes you back to your hotel.
