The Experience

The sound hits you first — the catamaran's hull cutting through trade winds so steady they've shaped Aruba's entire coastline. You're on the water maybe ten minutes before the captain points toward the Antilla, a German cargo ship that sank in 1941 and never moved again. It sits about 60 feet down, completely intact, which is rare. Most wrecks break apart or get salvaged. This one just became a reef.

The snorkel stop at the Antilla is the centerpiece, but what stays with you is Tres Trapi, the second site where the turtles are. You're in maybe 20 feet of water, mask on, and they're just there — moving slowly, unbothered, letting you float above them. The crew briefs you on snorkel technique before you go in, and they hand you the gear (included), so you're not fumbling with rental shops on shore. After that, the catamaran's design — a multihull that barely rocks — means you can actually relax on the way back instead of gripping the rail. The shaded areas on deck matter more than you'd think if you're fair-skinned or traveling with kids.

Lunch comes with the ticket: fresh fruit, sliders, local pastries, and an open bar with liquor, beer, soft drinks, juice and water (beer is 18+ only). It's not a sit-down meal, more like grazing while you're anchored or cruising, which works because you're still watching the water. The whole thing runs around half a day, and hotel pickup is included, so you're not renting a car or negotiating a taxi rate at the dock.

What’s included

Hotel pickup and return transportation, snorkel equipment with free lesson, access to the rope swing and diving platform, light lunch with fresh fruit, sliders and local pastries, open bar with liquor, beer (18+), soft drinks, juice and bottled water, professional crew and safety briefing, comfortable seating and shaded deck areas.
