The Experience

Your guide is already waiting at your hotel in downtown Buenos Aires when the morning starts. You climb into an air-conditioned coach and head north toward Tigre, passing through the leafy neighborhoods of Zona Norte—the kind of place where the houses sit back from the road behind high walls and mature trees. The drive takes you past San Isidro and along the Río de la Plata, and you can feel the city loosening as you go. The Quinta de Olivos, the presidential residence, sits somewhere in those quiet streets, though you're mostly watching the water and the shift in the air as you get closer to the delta.

When you arrive at Parque de la Costa, your guide takes you straight past the ticket line. You walk in directly—no waiting, no fumbling with entry forms—and then the park opens up in front of you. Fifty-four attractions spread across the grounds, and you choose how to spend your day.
