The experience

The tour starts the moment you land: a meet-and-greet at Iguazú Airport, then an air-conditioned transfer to your hotel in Puerto Iguazú. Depending on your arrival time, you may have time for a half-day on the Brazilian side the same afternoon. The Brazilian side walk follows well-maintained trails through lush rainforest, passing Floriano Fall, Rivadavia Fall, and Three Musketeers Falls before reaching the iconic Devil's Throat viewpoint.

Day two is the full Argentine experience. You enter Iguazú National Park and choose your route: take the ecological train or walk the Green Trail to the main circuits. The Upper Trail is an easy elevated boardwalk with views of Dos Hermanas and Bosetti Falls from above. The Lower Trail descends with stairs to the base of the falls, bringing you closer to the roaring water and offering panoramic views of Devil's Throat and the river canyon. The day culminates at Devil's Throat Station, where you walk the boardwalk directly over the river to the park's most powerful viewpoint: the thundering heart of the falls. Optional boat rides and San Martín Island access are available but not included.

On day three, your guide picks you up from the hotel and transfers you to the airport for your flight. The entire experience is designed around your schedule: the half-day on arrival and full day on the Argentine side can be adjusted if your flight times shift. Bring a valid passport and check Brazil's visa requirements before you book: that responsibility is yours, and you'll need proof at the border. A local municipal tax applies when entering or leaving Puerto Iguazú and is not included in the tour price. Have proof of payment ready at checkpoints to avoid delays.

Is this one for you?Three days is long enough to see both sides thoroughly (the Brazilian side's frontal views and the Argentine side's above-and-below trails) without eating your entire stay. If you're arriving and leaving on different days, the tour fits around your flights. If you're staying longer, you'll have time to explore Puerto Iguazú itself or rest between days.

Top questions

What languages is the tour guided in?

Live guide in English and Spanish.

Can children come?

Yes. Ticket types: Child (5 to 11 years); Infant (under 5): free.

What's the difference between the Argentine and Brazilian sides of Iguazú Falls?

The Brazilian side offers sweeping frontal views of the falls from scenic trails through rainforest, including Floriano Fall, Rivadavia Fall, and Three Musketeers Falls, all leading to Devil's Throat. The Argentine side lets you walk both above and below the falls on separate trails (the Upper Trail on elevated boardwalks and the Lower Trail down to the base), then finish at Devil's Throat boardwalk directly over the river for the most immersive view of the falls' power.

Do I need a visa to visit Brazil on this tour?

That depends on your citizenship. You must check Brazil's visa requirements for your passport before booking and obtain any visa if required, as that is your sole responsibility. You'll need proof of your visa status at the border crossing.

Is the half-day Brazilian side excursion guaranteed on day one?

The half-day on the Brazilian side depends on your flight arrival time. If you land early enough, you can join the excursion the same afternoon. If your flight arrives later, that portion may be rescheduled or skipped. The full-day Argentine side tour on day two is the core of the experience.

What's included in the tour price?

Round-trip airport transfers, group guides in English or Spanish, hotel transfers in Puerto Iguazú, the half-day Brazilian side excursion, and the full-day Argentine side excursion are all included. Meals, flights, and hotel accommodation are not included and must be arranged separately. Optional activities like boat rides and San Martín Island access cost extra.

Can I do the boat ride or visit San Martín Island on the Argentine side?

Yes, both the Great Adventure boat ride and San Martín Island access are available during the Argentine side day, but they are optional and not included in the tour price. You can add them on the day if you want.

Is there a local tax I need to pay?

Yes, a local Ecotourism Municipal Tax is mandatory for all visitors entering or leaving Puerto Iguazú and is not included in the tour price. You must pay it separately and keep proof of payment. Without it, you may face delays at checkpoints during your transfer to the airport.
