The experience
The day starts at the airport, where your guide meets you and drives directly to Iguazú National Park in a comfortable sedan. No transfers between terminals or waiting for group shuttles. You leave when you're ready. The guide handles park entry logistics, so you walk straight to the Ecological Jungle Train without the usual ticket-line delay.
Once on the train, you ride to Devil's Throat, the park's most powerful waterfall. From there, the Upper Circuit gives you aerial vistas across the entire falls system, and the Lower Circuit takes you down into the mist and jungle canopy where the water roars closest. Which circuits you visit and in what order depends on what's open and where the crowds are thinnest that day: your guide reads the conditions and builds the route around them. The park's walkways and train are fully wheelchair accessible, and the sedan has space for strollers and luggage if you're traveling with small children.
Optional add-ons like a boat ride or lunch stops can be arranged once you're in the park. The return drive takes you back to the airport or to your hotel in Puerto Iguazú, giving you time to rest after the walking.

Top questions
What languages is the guide in?
Live guide in English, Spanish and French.
How much walking is involved in the Upper and Lower Circuits?
Both circuits involve moderate walking on park trails and boardwalks. The Upper Circuit is a series of aerial viewpoints over the falls, while the Lower Circuit descends closer to the water through rainforest paths. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, and the park recommends a moderate level of physical fitness. All surfaces are wheelchair accessible, and foldable wheelchairs can be accommodated if you can board and exit the vehicle independently or with a companion's help.
What's the difference between Devil's Throat and the other circuits?
Devil's Throat is the single most powerful waterfall in the park: a massive U-shaped cascade where the water volume is at its peak. You reach it by Ecological Jungle Train. The Upper and Lower Circuits are separate trail systems that show you the broader falls system from different angles: the Upper Circuit gives you panoramic views across multiple waterfalls, while the Lower Circuit takes you down into the jungle and closer to the spray.
Does the tour include park admission?
Park admission is not included in the tour price. You purchase your ticket on-site with a credit card or in pesos when you arrive. Your guide will assist you with the entry process before you start exploring.
Can I add a boat ride or lunch to the tour?
Yes. Both the boat ride and lunch stops are optional add-ons you can arrange once you're in the park. Your guide can help you book these experiences on the day if you decide you want them.
What time does the tour start and end?
The tour runs between 5 and 7 hours total, including the airport pickup, the park visit and the return drive. Your guide meets you at Puerto Iguazú Airport (IGR) and drops you back at the airport or your hotel in Puerto Iguazú when the day is done.
