Two dives guided by a divemaster who knows the local reefs

A two-tank scuba dive in Antigua starting at 8:30am and finishing by 1pm, led by a guide with extensive knowledge of the local underwater realm. DiveCarib is Antigua's only independent five-star PADI facility, operating under a strict no-touch, no-take, no-feeding policy as a certified GreenFins member. Certified divers who have not dived in the ocean within the last two years must complete a refresher dive first. Contact the operator to arrange one.

The experience

The dive begins with a briefing at the DiveCarib base, covering the day's plan and any rental equipment you'll use. You board the boat for a short ride to the first site, and the water itself becomes part of the experience. The boat ride gives you another angle on the island before you enter. Once at the site, you kit up, run through a pre-dive safety check, and descend with the divemaster. Each dive is set for one hour or until you reach a minimum end pressure of 500 Psi. The boat carries aluminum S80 cylinders starting at 3000 Psi.

The divemaster guides both dives and points out the marine life Antigua's reefs hold. The operator enforces a strict no-touch, no-take, no-feeding policy across all dives. Drinking water is available on the boat. The whole outing runs about four hours from the 8:30am start to finish between 12:30 and 1pm.
