The Experience

The Land Rover leaves Tirana at 9:00 AM and climbs toward Shengjergj in 50–60 minutes. At the parking lot you change shoes and rest for 10 minutes, then walk 20–30 minutes through the forest to Shengjergji Waterfall. The hike is moderate and follows a clear path; most travelers spend an hour at the falls swimming, taking photos and cooling off before the 20–30 minute walk back down.

From there the route heads into Dajti National Park for an hour of exploration — the ridge offers views across the surrounding mountains, and the guide points out local flora and fauna. The pace is set by the group, so you can walk as much or as little as the terrain suits you. By late afternoon the Land Rover stops at Bar Restaurant Gurra e Perrise, where you can rest, use the facilities and order lunch if you want it (not included in the base price). The drive back to Tirana takes another 50–60 minutes.
