The experience
If you have a free afternoon in Sarandë, this speedboat tour fills it with seven stops that are reachable only by sea. The boat leaves from Limani Restaurant in Sarandë and runs 5.5 hours total, starting with 20 minutes at Turtle Cave for photos of the wave-carved rock formations, then a quick pass by Secret Beach before anchoring at Soldier's Bay, a former communist military area, for 20 minutes of swimming and snorkeling. The captain plays music on Bluetooth speakers throughout the day.
The next four stops are built around water: Rrojdhë Bay and Gremina cliffs each get 30 minutes for swimming and snorkeling in clear Mediterranean water. Kakome Bay, an ancient bay with some of the clearest water in the region, gets another 30 minutes. Then the boat heads to Krorëza Beach, the main event, where you dock for 3 hours. The beach is accessible only by sea, and the tour includes complimentary sunbeds. You can swim, rest on the sand, or eat at the beachfront restaurants (cash only). On the way back, you pass the Pllakator rock formations before the 300 HP speedboat returns you to Sarandë.
Snorkeling masks are provided and sanitized between guests. Life jackets and safety gear come with every seat. One cold drink is included on board. Anything else (meals, extra drinks, tips). You arrange and pay for at Krorëza Beach. The captain is multi-certified and speaks English, Greek and Albanian, so navigation and safety briefings are clear.
