Four secluded beaches in one morning, no planning required

A daily yacht tour from Saranda visits four beaches along Albania's southern coast: Qefali, Kakome, Krorez and Soldier's Beach. The boat carries a live guide in English or Italian, life jackets, snorkeling gear and a bar; you swim and snorkel at each stop, with the longest break at Krorez. The tour runs six hours and suits all fitness levels.

Step-by-step itinerary

Yacht tour visiting secluded beaches

  • Pass by Qefali Beach
  • Stop at Kakome Beach for 20-30 minutes
  • Spend 2.5 to 3 hours at Krorez Beach
  • Stop at Soldier’s Beach for 30 minutes

The Experience

The boat leaves Saranda and heads south along the coast, stopping first at Qefali Beach—a quiet cove ringed by cliffs where you can see the water and the Mediterranean vegetation without the crowds. From there it's a short run to Kakome Beach, another sheltered bay tucked between cliffs, where you'll spend 20 to 30 minutes swimming or wading in calm water before the boat moves on.

Krorez Beach is where the day opens up. You'll have two and a half to three hours here, long enough to actually swim, snorkel, sunbathe and explore instead of just stopping for a photo. The water is clear and shallow enough for snorkeling, and the beach itself is backed by green hills with no development visible. Life jackets and snorkeling gear are on board, and the boat has a bar and restaurant if you want lunch or a drink between swims.

The final stop is Soldier's Beach on the return, a calm spot where you can sit quietly and watch the water before heading back to Saranda. The whole tour takes six hours. A guide travels with you in English or Italian, pointing out the coastline and answering questions; the boat has toilets, free wifi and umbrellas at Krorez if the sun gets too direct. One soft drink is included; anything else from the bar you pay for separately.

Top questions

Can I book this as a private tour, or does it run as a shared group?

The Saranda Prince Ennio offers both a daily shared yacht tour and a private option—you choose at checkout which one suits your group.

What's the water like at Krorez Beach for swimming?

Krorez Beach has calm, clear turquoise water ideal for swimming and snorkeling, with soft white pebbles and fine sand underfoot. The beach is sheltered and relatively quiet, so the water stays gentle even on days with wind elsewhere on the coast.

Is snorkeling equipment provided, or do I need to bring my own?

Snorkeling gear is included on the yacht tour; life jackets are also provided for everyone on board.

How much time do we actually spend swimming versus traveling between beaches?

Qefali is a brief stop for views, Kakome takes 20 to 30 minutes, Krorez is two and a half to three hours for swimming and snorkeling, and Soldier's Beach is 30 minutes at the end. The boat time between stops is short since the beaches run along the same stretch of coast.

What language does the guide speak?

The guide speaks English or Italian—you can request your preferred language when you book.

Is there food on the boat, or should I bring lunch?

The yacht has a bar and restaurant on board, so you can buy lunch, snacks and drinks during the tour. One soft drink is included; everything else is paid separately.
