The experience
The boat departs from Saranda's port and travels along the Albanian coast before crossing to Corfu. Once you arrive at the Corfu Cruise Port, you board a coach for the drive into the Old Town center. The sightseeing tour covers Spianada, Corfu's largest square; Saint Spiridon's church; the Royal Palace, which houses the Museum of Asian Art; and both the New and Old Fortresses. Between the landmarks, you have time to walk the narrow streets and browse the souvenir shops on your own.
After the Old Town, the coach takes you to Palaiokastritsa, a village on the western coast known for its beach and the Monastery of the Virgin Mary. You can eat at one of the local tavernas or bars, swim in the water, or hire a boat on your own to explore the hidden sea caves and isolated beaches nearby. The return journey to Saranda follows the same route by water.
The tour includes a live guide, the boat service with taxes, and an air-conditioned coach. Hotel pickup and drop-off at the Saranda port cost 8 euros for adults and 4 euros for children if you add it at checkout. Infants can sit on an adult's lap or ride in a pram. Service animals are welcome. The full 10 to 12 hours covers both travel time and time spent at each stop.
