The experience

Nha Trang's dive sites center on Hon Mieu Island, where you descend with a professional diver who stays with you throughout the dive. The guide handles the technical side while you focus on the experience underwater. They'll also photograph your first dive if you want prints afterward. The dive itself is the core of the morning, followed by lunch with Vietnamese food at a restaurant opposite the beach and time to snorkel and relax on the sand.

Hotel pickup starts the day and drop-off ends it, so you don't arrange transport. You'll wear a diving suit and use full scuba gear. The operator provides everything. The whole outing runs five to six hours. Bottled water is on hand throughout. Alcoholic drinks are available to purchase if you want them with lunch.
