The Experience

That's the whole point of a discovery dive — you show up, get a short briefing on the basics, and then you're down there with an instructor watching your every move. The boat leaves from Nha Trang early in the morning, and you'll head out to Hon Mun Island, where the water is clear enough that you can actually see what you're doing. Two dives in two different spots means you get to see more than just one reef, and by the second one you're already less nervous about the whole breathing-underwater thing.

The group stays small — maximum two people per instructor — which changes everything.
