The day starts with pickup from your District 1 hotel between 7:30 and 8:00am, then a drive to the Mekong Delta. Your first stop is Vinh Trang Pagoda, a Buddhist temple that blends Asian and European architecture. You'll walk through serene gardens and see the Buddha statues before heading to the river. From there, a motorboat takes you past floating fish farms, stilt houses, and the named islands (Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise) that line the riverside. The boat moves into a quieter canal where you step out to walk into a fruit garden, taste fresh tropical fruits, and listen to traditional Vietnamese folk music played by local artists.

The next stop is Coconut Island, where you watch how coconut candy is made using traditional techniques and taste it fresh. A traditional Vietnamese lunch follows at a local riverside restaurant, then you board a hand-rowed boat for a peaceful drift through the scenic canals before the journey back to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon.
