The experience

The tour starts with pickup from your hotel or cruise port between 8:30 and 9:00 am, then heads to Hon Chong, a natural formation of stacked boulders on La San foothill where the largest rock carries a massive five-fingered hand indentation facing the sea. From there, you move to Po Nagar Cham Towers (also called Thap Ba), a temple complex built around 781 A.D., followed by Long Son Pagoda, where a large white Buddha statue sits on the mountain crest and is visible across the city. The route also includes Nha Trang Cathedral, a stone church that has kept its original architecture through several historical periods.

Dam Market rounds out the morning, a place to see local customs and shopping in the center of the city. You return to your hotel or port by 12:30 pm. The guide speaks English and travels with you the entire time in a private car, minivan or minibus depending on your group size. Lunch is included in the price, though beverages are separate.
