We arrived mid-morning when the sun hit the water just right; everything sparkled for a minute or two before clouds rolled in. Minh shared a bit about how this spot is considered the most majestic in the Central Highlands—locals picnic here on weekends but we had it mostly to ourselves.

We stopped at a coffee plantation after lunch (the weasel coffee place). You’ll spot wild weasels darting around if you’re lucky—they eat only the ripest beans, which are collected later for roasting. The smell of fresh beans roasting is everywhere. I tried a cup—can’t say it tasted like any coffee back home! Afterward, we visited Linh An Pagoda to see Lady Budha standing tall at 70 meters and the giant Happy Buddha statue tucked behind the main hall. Inside, three huge Buddha statues represent past, present, and future—it’s peaceful there; incense hangs in the air.
