This three-hour trekking tour from Twin Beans Farm takes you into Da Lat forest with a pack of seven dogs as guides, stopping at one of the region's largest sturgeon farms and a waterfall closed to the public. The Experience
You start at Twin Beans Farm and trek into the forest for about half an hour before reaching the sturgeon farm. There you'll learn how the operation raises sturgeon—the farm is one of the largest in the Da Lat area—then continue deeper into the forest to a waterfall that isn't open to regular visitors. The pack of seven dogs accompanies you the whole way, moving through the trees as part of the group. You get time to sit with the waterfall, eat the fruits and snacks provided, and then trek back to the farm.
The farm has a coffeeshop where you can order freshly roasted coffee after you finish (at your own cost). If you want to extend the afternoon, Twin Beans also runs a coffee farm tour and roasting workshop from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m., or a scented candle workshop from 3 to 4 p.m.—both available on request and charged separately. Your guide speaks English or Vietnamese, and purified water is available at the start; bring a container to refill it during the trek.
Book with round-trip transfer if you're staying in Da Lat and don't have your own transport, or choose trekking only if you can get to the farm yourself. Either way, the sturgeon farm entrance and waterfall snacks are included.
