Kayaking and stand-up paddling on Tuyen Lam Lake in Da Lat, combined with a guided trek to Pinhatt peak (1,600m altitude, 8km total distance). The day starts with hotel pickup at 8:30am, moves through three hours of trekking to the summit, includes a picnic lunch at the kayak station, then shifts to 90 minutes of paddling on the water before return to your hotel by 2:30pm. A professional English-speaking guide leads both sections. All gear, entry fees, and lunch are included.

The experience

Your hotel pickup at 8:30am gets you to Pinhatt trailhead by 9am. The trek climbs 8km total to the summit at 1,600 meters above sea level: a steady three-hour push through forest where you might spot wild plants and animals. The guide sets the pace and carries trekking poles for you to use. By noon you're standing on the peak looking down at Tuyen Lam Lake, the largest in Da Lat, spread across the valley below.

Lunch is a picnic prepared to your dietary preferences, eaten at the kayak station while you catch your breath. Then you move to the water. From 1pm to 2:30pm you're on a stand-up paddleboard or kayak (you choose which), paddling across Tuyen Lam Lake with a life jacket on. The water is calm enough to swim if you want to. The guide stays with the group the whole time. By 2:30pm you're back in the van heading to your hotel.

The day runs six hours door-to-door. Children from age 3 are welcome. The guide speaks English and adjusts pace to the group. Trekking poles, kayak or SUP board, life jacket, and all park entry fees are included. Bring water beyond the 500ml bottle provided, wear shoes with grip, and expect to be tired and wet by the end: that is the point.
