The Experience

Your driver meets you at Chan May Port and drives directly to Ba Na Hills. Along the way, you stop at Vong Nguyet hills and Linh Ung Pagoda to break up the ride. Once at the cable car station, you board for the ascent — the views shift as you climb, and the scenery changes enough that most travelers photograph the ride itself. The cable car deposits you at Nui Chua Mountain, the summit of the Ba Na range.

From there, the day splits between walking and exploring. You cross the Golden Bridge, which spans nearly 150 meters and is built with eight stone arches, the longest reaching 21.2 meters — it's designed wide enough (12.8 meters) that crowds don't bottleneck, and the foggy mountain air often frames it differently depending on the hour. You also ride the funicular train (the first and only one in Vietnam) down into the mountain, visit the Debay Ancient Wine Cellar left from the French colonial era, walk through Le Jardin D'amour flower garden, and stop at Nginh Phong top and Le Nim Villas. Linh Ung Pagoda appears again at the summit, offering a different angle than the lower stop.

The return follows the same route: cable car down, then your driver takes you back to Chan May Port. The full day is structured around the cable car schedule and the mountain's opening hours, so timing is set.
