The experience
What makes this zipline different is the setup: all nine lines use dual cables and gravity brakes calibrated to slow you down automatically, so you never grip the line or wear bulky gloves. You'll launch from scenic overlooks, cross two swinging sky bridges, and drop from a tower into the forest canopy. The lines themselves range from 150 feet to 750 feet, each one a different angle and speed. Whitewater rafters paddling the New River below will see you flying overhead more than 100 feet up.
A professional guide leads the group through the course and handles all the safety checks and harness work. Midway through, a short shuttle takes you to the next section so you're not hiking between every line. The whole experience runs about three hours from start to finish, and you'll have time to catch your breath and look out at the gorge from the platforms between runs.
Harness, helmet and all safety gear are included. The guide speaks English and keeps the group moving at a steady pace. You can race friends down the dual lines to add some competition to the day.
