The experience
The adventure starts with a UTV ride along off-road trails that takes you to the canopy course. Once there, you work through six ziplines, the longest stretching 1,250 feet across the treetops. Between lines you cross a 140-foot suspended sky bridge. A narrow span that keeps you moving across the canopy rather than descending to solid ground. The guide teaches you hand-braking technique during ground school before you start, and you'll use it on every line to control your speed.
The rappel from the tree platform drops you 40 feet to the forest floor, a moment that separates ziplining from rappelling but uses the same equipment and technique. At the final platform, you choose: take an optional free-fall jump, or rappel the rest of the way down. All safety equipment (harness, helmet, carabiners) is provided. You'll need closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Very short shorts aren't recommended because of the harness and the friction of the lines.
Ground school covers everything you need to know before you clip in, and the guide coaches you through the course. Participants must be in good health and able to reach their arms above their head to grip the cable. The activity requires active participation: hand braking, climbing stairs, and hiking across uneven terrain. A waiver is required before you start, and you'll complete it online after booking. If you're under 18, a parent or legal guardian signs it on your behalf.
