The experience

I’ll be honest. I wasn’t sure if a private city tour in Washington DC would feel too “touristy.” But after four hours cruising past the White House, the Capitol, and even that wild Watergate building (which looks surprisingly ordinary), I realized there’s something relaxing about letting someone else handle the city’s maze. Still, rolling past the Pentagon as Paulo explained its five sides (in three languages!) made me realize how much history is packed into these streets. I still think about that quiet moment by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Just us and some morning birds.
