You’ll ride through Washington DC’s most famous monuments in an open-air vintage electric car, with a local guide sharing stories as you go. Step-by-step itinerary

  • Ride in classic luxury open car
  • See Capitol Hill and take photos
  • Visit Washington Monument obelisk
  • Explore Lincoln Memorial interior
  • Visit Thomas Jefferson Memorial
  • Pass by National World War II Memorial
  • Visit Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial
  • Pass by the White House

The Experience

I’ll admit, I didn’t expect to feel so giddy sitting in a replica Model T with strangers — but there we were, rolling down Constitution Avenue with the wind sneaking in from all sides. Our guide (I think his name was Marcus?) had this habit of pointing out tiny details you’d never notice on foot. At one point he stopped near the Capitol Hill steps and said something about how the marble feels different at night, almost softer under the lights. I ran my hand along it — he was right. It’s cooler too, almost damp from the evening air.

The city’s hum is different after dark. The White House looks less like a postcard and more like someone’s actual house (well, if your house had snipers on the roof). We passed families snapping photos in front of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial; I caught a whiff of cherry blossoms even though it wasn’t peak season — maybe just my brain filling in gaps. The World War II Memorial glowed gold and quiet, except for some kids skipping stones across the reflecting pool. Marcus told us about items buried under the Washington Monument — I tried to imagine what they’d put there a hundred years ago. Probably not what I’d pick.

We took turns taking awkward group selfies in front of Lincoln’s giant feet (no one can get everyone in frame on the first try). Someone asked if Jefferson really wrote all those quotes carved into his memorial or if some were just good PR; Marcus just grinned and shrugged — “Depends who you ask.” The whole thing only took about two hours but honestly felt longer, in that good way where you lose track of time because your senses are busy. I still think about that view back toward Congress from inside Lincoln’s memorial — kind of makes you want to whisper.

What’s included
