Ziplining in Tampa: 5 lines over Tampa Bay
Five ziplines and a 200-foot suspension bridge across open water
A 2-hour guided zipline adventure in Oldsmar, Florida on the Mobbly Bayou Wilderness Preserve, where you cross 5 ziplines ranging from 400 to 650 feet, walk a 200-foot suspension bridge, navigate a high ropes course and rappel down. All gear, harnesses and instruction are included; the minimum age is 7 and weight range is 70–270 lbs.
The Experience
Two hours starts with a 30-minute arrival window to check in and get fitted. Your guide walks you through the full body harness and all the attachments you'll need, then leads you through the course. The five ziplines range from 400 to 650 feet—each one longer than the last—so you build speed and confidence as you go. Between lines you'll cross the 200-foot suspension bridge, work through a high ropes course with four aerial obstacles, and finish with a rappel descent.
The course sits on the Mobbly Bayou Wilderness Preserve in Oldsmar, just minutes from Tampa, Clearwater and St. Pete beaches, so you get wide-open water views the whole time. All necessary gear is provided when you arrive. Wear close-toed shoes, long pants (6–7 inch inseam recommended because of the straps), and tie back long hair; no tank tops or short shorts. Tours run rain or shine, though lightning brings everyone down to wait it out—no refund for weather delays.
After you're back on the ground, your guides help you out of the harness. You can purchase photos of your run to take home; those are available at the end but not included in the price.
