You bring nothing but yourself—the boat, the gear, the captain and the route are all arranged.

Snorkel from a private charter boat near St. Pete Beach with a live English-speaking captain, all watersports and snorkeling equipment included. You choose the length—2, 3 or 4 hours—and what you do on the water: snorkel, wakeboard, water ski, knee board, tube, island hop or shell hunt. The boat is yours alone, fuel is charged separately at the end of the trip.

The Experience

You show up at Saint Pete Beach, and the captain handles the rest. The boat is private—no strangers, no fixed itinerary, no schedule except the one you set. Once you're on the water, the gear is there: snorkeling equipment, wakeboards, water skis, knee boards, tubes. If you've never wakeboarded, the captain can teach you. If you want to drift and look for shells, that works too. Egmont Key is within reach if you want to anchor and explore, or you can chase dolphins, watch the sunset, or just float and swim.

Three hours is the middle option—long enough to get out, try a few things, and get back without the day swallowing your whole schedule. Two hours works if you're testing the water; four hours gives you room to move between activities without rushing. Fuel runs around $50 extra, collected at the end. Infants sit on a lap; small children can come along. The captain speaks English and knows the area, so you're not navigating or guessing where to go.

Top questions

Can I snorkel and also try wakeboarding on the same trip?

Yes. The private charter means you set the mix—snorkel for an hour, wakeboard for another, then drift and shell hunt. The captain brings all the gear and can show you how to use any of it.

What's included in the price, and what costs extra?

All watersports equipment, snorkeling gear, the boat and the captain are included. Fuel is charged separately at the end, around $50 depending on how far you travel and how long you're out.

Do I need experience to wakeboard or water ski?

No. The captain can teach you if you've never done it. The boat and gear are set up for beginners, and you go at your own pace.

How long is the trip, and can I choose a different length?

You pick 2, 3 or 4 hours when you book. Two hours is a quick outing; three gives you time to try multiple activities; four lets you explore further and take your time.

Where do we go—is Egmont Key included?

Egmont Key is reachable on the private charter, but it's not a fixed stop. You and the captain decide together what you want to do: snorkel at Egmont Key, island hop, hunt for shells, watch for dolphins, or stay closer to shore.
