The experience

The tour leaves your hotel and heads straight into Oak Creek Canyon, one of Arizona's top scenic drives. The enclosed, air-conditioned vehicle climbs through the canyon walls while your guide points out the geology and history that shaped the landscape. You stop at Oak Creek Vista for an overlook, then move on to the red rock formations themselves: Bell Rock rises from the desert floor in a shape that has drawn photographers and hikers for decades, and the Chapel of the Holy Cross sits built into a cliff face above the town. Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village comes next, a recreation of a Spanish colonial village that now holds galleries, studios and shops. It breaks up the natural landscape stops and gives you a chance to walk around at your own pace. The tour wraps with another scenic overlook before heading back to your hotel.
