Step-by-step itinerary

Guided bike tour of beaches and parks

  • Visit Santa Monica Pier and learn history
  • Explore Palisades Park and take photos
  • Ride through Marina del Rey and learn facts
  • See Venice Beach vendors and take photos
  • Watch skaters enjoy Venice Beach
  • Visit Muscle Beach and learn history

The Experience

The tour starts near the Santa Monica Pier and moves through the beach neighborhoods at a relaxed pace. Your guide takes you to Muscle Beach first, where you'll learn the area's history and get photos; then to the Pier itself for more local facts and picture time. From there you head inland to Marina del Rey, then loop back through Palisades Park, where the guide stops to let you explore and shoot photos of the views. The route is built for families, couples, friend groups and solo riders—no experience needed.

Venice Beach is where the day picks up texture. You'll see the vendors and street art that line the boardwalk, and your guide will photograph you against the Art Walls. The skate culture at Venice gets its own stop so you can watch the skaters work. Palisades Park closes out the ride with more photo chances and time to take in the park itself. Throughout, the guide feeds you surprising secrets and history instead of just pointing at landmarks.

You get a standard bike, helmet (required), and a bike bag to carry your things. If the flat terrain and ocean breeze aren't enough and you want to coast through the three hours with less effort, you can upgrade to an electric bike at checkout—available for riders 16 and up. Trailers and tag-alongs aren't allowed, so it's just you and the bike.
