Sand Hollow State Park sits just outside St George and holds some of the best terrain in Southern Utah — sand dunes that actually feel like dunes, a reservoir you can see from the high points, and rock formations with names like Glitter Mountain and the Flintstone House that make sense once you're standing in front of them. The tour hits all of them. You'll climb to the Top of the World sand dunes, which is exactly what it sounds like, and the whole thing takes as long as you want it to. Some groups run three hours, some run longer.
