A 5-hour guided ATV ride on Can-Am side-by-side vehicles through Red Rock Desert backcountry just outside Zion National Park, crossing into Arizona to visit three World Heritage sites, ancient petroglyphs, dinosaur tracks, a working gypsum mine and a Blackhawk-era fort. All skill levels welcome. Groups from 2 to 10 people. The price covers 2 people regardless of age, and everything you need (vehicle, helmet, fuel, water and snacks) is provided.

The experience

You operate a Can-Am side-by-side yourself through rugged terrain that opens onto views of Zion's mountains in the distance. The ride takes you past three World Heritage sites and into a working gypsum mine where you can collect sparkling samples to take home. Along the way you'll walk among thousands of petroglyphs carved into the rock and stand on ground marked with hundreds of real dinosaur tracks from millions of years ago.

The 5-hour adventure is guided, and all skill levels are welcome. You don't need experience to book. Groups run as small as 2 people or as large as 10, and the price is set for 2 people no matter the age of who's riding. The operator provides the vehicle, helmet, fuel, bottled water and snacks. You show up ready to ride. An abandoned fort from the Blackhawk war era rounds out the stops, anchoring the day in the region's history.
