The experience
The boat leaves the dock with a professional crew who manage the helm while you settle in with a cocktail. You'll cruise the Intracoastal with unobstructed views of the shoreline: the Flagler Museum's 100,000-square-foot mansion built in 1903, the historic Ducks Nest and Bethesda by the Sea, Mar-A-Lago, and Stallone's private beach estate all pass within sight. Mega yachts line the downtown waterfront. The captain navigates at a pace that lets you take it in without rushing.
Peanut Island is the anchor stop. You can jump off the side of the boat to swim and snorkel the reef, or stay aboard on the floating sunbathing pads. The crew will have lunch ready while you're anchored. Paddle boards are available to rent for $50 each if you want to explore further. Keep watch for manatees, stingrays, sea turtles and giant orange starfish in the shallows. The boat then cruises down to the Breakers Hotel, where you can swim and snorkel the reef again before heading back.
Your stewardess handles the details: craft cocktails made to order, charcuterie boards assembled fresh, plates, cups and utensils all provided. Bottled water, ice, soda and chips are complimentary. You bring the food and alcohol you want aboard, and the crew takes care of the rest. A sunset cruise option adds champagne and appetizers if you prefer an evening departure.
