You meet at 233 14th Street, one block west of Ocean Drive, where you'll spend time getting comfortable on the Segway before the ride starts. The training covers the basics so first-time riders can move through the streets without worry. Once you're steady, your guide leads you into the heart of South Beach, pointing out the Art Deco buildings that line the blocks—hotels, restaurants, storefronts—many of them among the first and most visited in the district. The pastel facades and architectural details are what make this neighborhood recognizable, and riding past them on a Segway puts you at eye level with the details a car would miss.

The route takes you through the Art Deco Historic District itself, where you'll see the parks and beaches that frame the buildings, and the man-made islands that shape the waterfront. You get the beachfront breeze and the rhythm of South Beach without the effort of walking the whole strip on foot. A live local guide rides with you and knows the neighborhood well enough to point out what matters. The whole tour runs one hour, which is long enough to cover the main streets and short enough to fit into the rest of your day.
