The route covers the spots that actually matter. You start in the Miami River, where the Brickell skyline stacks up behind you, then head toward Bayside and the Ferris wheel, past the Port of Miami—one of the largest in the US—and out to the islands. Star Island slides by, then Fisher Island, then Millionaire's Row, where the houses sit so close to the water you can almost read the addresses. The captain knows the angles and the timing; you just watch it happen, or you don't, depending on whether you brought a drink and want to sit on the bow instead. On the three-hour tour, you can jump in the water when the boat stops. On the four-hour one, other private boats anchor nearby and it turns into something closer to a floating party.
