The experience

Captain Mark the Shark runs a 50-foot sportfishing boat that has appeared on hundreds of television shows. You're fishing for big game in the Atlantic, with expert guidance on technique and where the fish are running. The boat holds your party and can accommodate another group if you want to share the cost, or you can book it private. A live guide speaks English and Spanish throughout the trip.

You'll spend 5 hours on the water. The boat supplies all the ice you need. You can bring your own food and alcohol, and the crew will clean and prepare any fish you catch. At the end of the day, you get 9x11-inch framed photos of your trophy catches and all the underwater video from the trip. If you want to extend the experience, ask about catering options. The crew can arrange food, drinks, GoPros and other gear.

The boat departs from Miami and is fully wheelchair accessible, with accessible transportation options nearby. Before or after your fishing trip, you can visit the sea life museum and gift shop next to the boat, which displays over 1,000 shark jaws and preserved sea creatures, including sharks in jars and hundreds of fish skeletons.
