You’ll settle into a cozy Las Vegas theater where magic happens right at your fingertips. Watch world-class witches & warlocks perform tricks just inches away, enjoy snacks and drinks included with your ticket, and chat with the performers after the show. If you want an evening that leaves you questioning what’s real — this is it.
The first thing I noticed was the smell — that faint mix of popcorn and something sweet (maybe licorice?) hanging in the air as we shuffled into this little theater right on Las Vegas Blvd. It wasn’t flashy like you’d expect from Vegas; more like someone’s quirky living room dressed up for Halloween year-round. Our seats were so close I could see the magician’s shoelaces — honestly, I got nervous he’d spot me trying to sneak a second soda from the snack table. The crowd was mostly adults, but there were a couple of kids with their parents too, all whispering and giggling before the lights dimmed.
Li, our host for the night (he called himself “Head Warlock” with a straight face), started off by asking if anyone believed in magic. My friend nudged me when I didn’t raise my hand — classic skeptic move — but then Li pulled off this card trick right under my nose that made me forget what I was supposed to be looking for. There’s something about seeing magic so close you can almost feel the air move when they snap their fingers. At one point he let someone from the audience (not me, thank god) try out a spell in Mandarin — Li laughed when she butchered it, but it felt friendly, not mean.
The whole witches & warlocks theme was more playful than spooky. There were velvet curtains and these weird old spell books on the shelves behind us — probably props, but who knows? Afterward we got to hang out with Li and another performer (she called herself “Mistress of Shadows,” which cracked me up). They answered questions about how they got started in magic and even let us peek at some of their gear — nothing too revealing though; secrets are part of the deal here. Leaving, I kept thinking about how rare it is to feel surprised as an adult. That’s probably why I’m still replaying that coin trick in my head days later.
Kids are welcome at the show, but it's designed mainly for adults. Families do attend together.
