An outdoor shooting activity in the Nevada desert near Las Vegas where you fire machine guns, rifles and other firearms under professional instruction, with round-trip hotel pickup from the Strip and all range fees, ammunition and protective gear included. You choose your package at checkout—options range from three to eight firearms per session, and some include lunch or a non-shooter option for companions. Minimum age is 18; the experience runs about three hours.

The Experience

Hotel pickup from the Las Vegas Strip means the morning starts at your door instead of at a shooting range desk. You ride out into the Nevada desert in an air-conditioned van with a certified Range Safety Officer, arriving at an outdoor range surrounded by sand dunes and distant mountains. The setup is nothing like the indoor ranges packed into the city: you have space, natural light, and room to move between stations as you work through the firearms your package includes.

A personalized orientation covers the basics before you touch anything—ear and eye protection go on first, and the RSO walks through the mechanics and safety rules for each weapon. Then you move to the firing line. Depending on which package you chose, you'll shoot a Glock 19, an AR-15, a Smith & Wesson .500 Magnum, or climb up to the famous Barrett .50 Caliber rifle, which delivers a recoil and report that changes how you think about power. The range sets up two targets for you, and you can also arrange to shoot at an exploding target or car in a controlled setup—that part is optional and arranged when you book. Everything is live ammunition in a real outdoor environment, not a simulator.

The three-hour window gives you time to shoot without rushing, ask questions between rounds, and take photos in the desert light.
