The experience
The tour starts with pickup from your hotel and moves through the Strip as the sun sets. You'll pass the Bellagio, where more than a thousand fountains dance in sync to music from Andrea Bocelli, Elvis, Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. Inside the resort, you'll see the 2,000-piece Chihuly glass ceiling and the 27-foot chocolate fountain at the Bellagio Patisserie: the largest in the United States, circulating 2,100 pounds of chocolate through 500 feet of pipe. The Bellagio Conservatory rotates seasonal displays every few months, so what you see depends on when you visit: spring blooms, summer colors, fall arrangements, or winter themes, plus a special Lunar New Year display.
The route continues past the Venetian and Palazzo, then to the Sphere, where digital screens wrap the entire exterior. You'll stop at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign, a 25-foot landmark on Las Vegas Boulevard with a parking lot for photos. The sign runs on solar panels and has done so since 2014. From there, the tour heads downtown to Fremont Street Experience, a five-block pedestrian mall under a 130,000-square-foot LED canopy. The light show, called Viva Vision, runs nightly and syncs music and visuals overhead. The street is lined with casinos like the Golden Gate and Binion's, and you'll see the Hand of Faith: a 61-pound golden nugget, the largest ever found with a metal detector, displayed in a casino lobby.
The tour lasts three to four hours and includes a bottle of water and all parking fees. Your guide is a local who speaks English and knows the stories behind the lights. This is a night tour, so the Strip and Fremont Street are at their brightest, and the crowds are out. The pace is steady but not rushed. You move between stops by vehicle and have time to stand and take in each landmark.
