The boat leaves Kaneohe's He'eia Kea Boat Harbor and takes you straight to the Kaneohe Bay Sandbar, a shallow stretch of water where the crew can point out what lives there. Snorkeling masks and mouthpieces come with you, along with stand-up paddle boards and floats if you want them. The crew teaches you about the local marine life as you go, so you know what you're looking at when you get in the water.

Once you're at the sandbar, the schedule stops mattering. You have over two hours to snorkel the lagoon, paddle out on a board, float and watch for turtles, or sit on deck with a snack and take in the sun. The boat provides granola bars, chips and spam musubi, plus a community cooler where you can keep your own drinks cold. Life jackets are included and the crew stays with you the whole time.
