The experience
You spend 2.5 hours making five dishes from the ground up. The chef walks you through each one: kneading and rolling fresh pasta by hand, filling ravioli with butternut squash or Nutella, building the sauces. You choose between ragù alla Bolognese and marinara for the tagliatelle. The crostini come first (apple, anise, shallot and cheese on crisp bread) followed by a Caesar salad with anchovies and Parmesan. Then the two pasta courses, then the Nutella ravioli dusted with powdered sugar. Everything you make, you eat, sitting down together in the small group.
The class is designed to work with dietary needs if you mention them in advance. Bring wine or beer if you want to drink with the meal. The space is fully wheelchair accessible, and service animals are welcome. The chef is a five-star instructor who teaches in English and breaks down each technique so you can remake these dishes at home.
