The Experience

You meet at the beach and get fitted with a stand-up paddleboard, life jacket, mask, snorkel and fins. The guide briefs you on paddling technique, snorkeling basics and marine safety before heading out to the reef system. This is not a lesson — you're ready to move — but the instruction means you're not figuring it out alone in the water. Once you reach the reef, you can stay attached to your board and float, or the guide will moor the boards together and lead a drift dive over the corals.
