You meet your captain on the Destin dock and board a 23-foot pontoon that holds up to nine passengers. The boat carries everything you need to spend a half-day or full day on the water: a 72-quart cooler for your drinks and ice, a Bluetooth speaker, a floating lily pad and Bote inflatables for lounging, water toys like a football and volleyball, and a Bimini shade overhead. Your captain takes the helm and steers while you settle in. There's no navigation or docking to worry about.

Crab Island is the anchor stop, a shallow-water gathering spot where you can float, swim, and relax. Vendors set up there through the summer, so you can grab food or drinks without leaving the water. If you want more than one spot, tell your captain: he can cruise through Destin Harbor to show you the boats and sights, or slow down to look for dolphins. The choice is yours, and the boat stays on your schedule.

You choose between a 4-hour trip, a 5.5-hour option that includes sunset, or a full 8-hour charter. Lifejackets are on board for all ages, and infants can ride in a stroller or on an adult's lap. The captain's fee is paid directly to him on the dock before you leave, separate from the boat rental.
