The experience
Two hours means you're on the trails from the trailhead outside Woodland Park straight through to the sunset stop: no long drive to get there. You'll operate the UTV yourself through Pike National Forest, splashing across creek crossings and climbing rocky terrain past rock formations shaped like turkey tail feathers. The guide handles navigation and wildlife spotting while you focus on the driving. If you'd rather ride along, that option is there too.
The route climbs Cedar Mountain, where views open to the Tarryall Mountains and Platte River Canyon to the west. The final stop is a Pikes Peak vista point where the group gathers for photos as the light turns golden: the guide captures a custom video of the day that you take home. Helmets and goggles are provided. The UTV comes with gas and a damage waiver that covers accidental impacts, so you're not paying extra if something happens on the trail.
Bring a valid driver's license and arrive ready to drive. The activity is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, or during pregnancy, but it suits all fitness levels otherwise. A credit or debit card will be held on file for any incidentals when you arrive, or you can call ahead to set that up.
