The experience
Seventy-five minutes with alpacas means real time to interact, not a quick walk-through. You'll hand-feed them directly, pet their naturally hypoallergenic coats, and get close enough to look them in the eye. The guide walks you through their behavior, their role in sustainable farming, and the farm's income strategies: the kind of detail that turns a petting session into something you actually remember. A goat meet-and-greet rounds out the animal time, and you're free to snap as many photos as you want.
Everything is built into one price: the animal food, the photos, the education, the access to the behind-the-scenes areas where the work actually happens. You're not watching a demonstration or standing behind a rope. A live guide leads the whole thing, so questions get answered as they come up, and the alpacas, including one named Pablo Picasso, set the pace. The setting is Red Rocks Park itself, so the natural scenery is there without being the point.
