The experience

You get picked up from your hotel and driven to the boat. Once aboard the 35' powerboat, the captain takes the helm while you settle in for the day. The itinerary is yours to shape. Tell the captain which beaches and cays appeal to you, and he routes the boat to hit them. Lovango Cay, Maho Bay and Lime Out are popular stops, but the route flexes around what you want to see and how long you want to spend at each place.

The boat carries snorkel gear, floats and a full-size cooler stocked with ice, so you can move between beaches without stopping to resupply. Music plays while you're underway. You snorkel in the premier spots the captain knows, swim off the boat at the cays, and spend the afternoon island-hopping at a pace that suits the group. The captain handles all the navigation and boat logistics. You handle the deciding.

The full day runs about seven and a half hours from pickup to drop-off. Hotel return is included. Note that the captain's fee, fuel charges and gratuity are not part of the charter price and will be added when you book.
