The sailboat Cosmos Mariner departs Sapphire Marina with no more than 6 people aboard — small enough that Captain Rob and Deb can adjust the day to conditions instead of sticking to a fixed route. The destination shifts with the weather: Caneel Bay in St John is the primary snorkel spot, but Christmas Cove and Lovango are alternatives in the same area, all premier locations in the US Virgin Islands. You spend the morning under sail and in the water, with the captain choosing which site offers the calmest conditions on the day you go.
Snorkeling equipment and water flotation devices (noodles and seat floats) are on board; bottled water, soda, beer and wine, and snacks round out what's included. The swim ladder has a weight capacity of 260 pounds, and you'll need to be able to climb it to board and exit the boat.
