A two-tank certified dive in St Thomas where the crew manages your equipment, tanks and entry so you can dive without the logistics. Scuba Pro gear with integrated weights and digital gauges; small groups of seven divers or fewer per instructor; a 42-foot USCG-inspected boat with licensed captains; two possible sites on the southeast side of the island.
The Experience
You arrive at Saga Haven Marina 30 minutes before departure for gear fitting and paperwork. The captain runs a safety briefing on the dock, then the boat heads out—a 15 to 30 minute ride to the first site while the crew sets up your Scuba Pro equipment, checks your weights and goes over the dive plan. All divers get hands-on assistance with their gear before the giant stride into the water. Each dive runs up to an hour.
Between dives, you surface for a short interval with snacks, water and soda while the captain motors to the second site. The crew handles tank changes and gear adjustments. After the second dive, you head back to the marina with rum punch (18+), more snacks, and time to decompress. The whole outing runs about three and a half hours from check-in to dock.
Small groups mean seven divers or fewer per guide, and a certified instructor stays in the water with you the entire time. If you don't have a buddy, the crew pairs you with another guest or the instructor dives with you directly. The boat carries water, soft drinks, snacks and punch, so you're not managing supplies between dives—the crew handles that too.
